OUR FOUNDER AND BRAND STORY
More Than 40 Years of Passion for Paper Art
Huang Fangliang, founder and general manager of Carton King, has dedicated more than 40 years to the paper industry. Beginning with graphic design and packaging production, he has devoted his career to researching, designing and creating with paper. His visits to exhibitions around the world have also contributed to Carton King’s extensive experience in paper art, design and manufacturing.
Through years of experimentation and development, paper has moved beyond flat packaging and taken on three-dimensional forms. Its applications have expanded to furniture, lighting, tableware, corporate gifts, exhibition installations and themed attractions. This passion for paper and commitment to innovation have shaped Carton King into the brand it is today.
Our creations are more than paper products. They represent the culture, artistry and design creativity nurtured in Taiwan. By understanding the materials, skills and processes behind each piece, people can rediscover the value of resources and learn to appreciate every sheet of paper.
CARTON KING CREATIVE PARK
A World of Paper Creativity from Dakeng, Taichung
Carton King Creative Park was established in Dakeng, Taichung, in 2007. It marked an important milestone in the development of the Carton King brand and has become a family-friendly destination centered on creativity with paper.
The park brings paper to life through large-scale replicas of world landmarks, the Carton King train, paper furniture, creative lighting, the signature paper hot pot and hands-on workshops. Visitors can explore paper landscapes, ride the train, enjoy themed dining and discover the structural qualities, creative potential and everyday applications of paper.

Supported by a professional design and production team, Carton King provides paper products, corporate gifts, packaging design, patented box structures, paper installations, exhibition displays and themed-space planning. By combining design, materials and manufacturing expertise, we turn creative concepts into products and spaces that can be experienced, displayed and used.
In recent years, we have also developed the Replace Paper collection. Discarded paper materials are given a new purpose and transformed into lifestyle products and sustainable corporate gifts while retaining the natural texture of paper fibers.
